‘Younger’ Season 3 Spoilers: Sutton Foster Hopes ‘Everyone Still Likes’ Her ‘Giant Wrecking Ball’ Character Liza
“Younger” Season 3 is going to premiere soon, and some of the show’s cast have offered a few teasers about what’s in store for fans when the TV Land series returns on screen.
Speaking with Pop Sugar, Sutton Foster shared what her character Liza will be up to in the upcoming installment of the series. The actress said her character will struggle with being comfortable with her two identities.
“I feel like she’s kind of caught up in all of it and I feel like she’s just this kind of giant wrecking ball that’s getting bigger and bigger,” the actress said, “but I worry about her and I worry about the end of this season. I don’t know -- I’m actually worried like what audiences will think of her. And I hope everyone still likes her.”
Aside from what Liza will go through, Foster also teased that there will be a lot of surprises in store for viewers in the upcoming installment, assuring fans that the season “doesn’t disappoint.”
In terms of surprises, the previous season gave a big one in the form of Thad’s (Dan Amboyer) death. Though the character will no longer be seen on the show, the actor who plays it will still probably make an appearance. Thad has a twin brother Chad, who might be part of the third season.
Speaking of the possibility that Chad will be part of the show, Amboyer told TV Fanatic that he is excited about exploring the character since he was only introduced in the previous season. “Is he the good guy, is he the better twin, or is he the evil twin?” the actor added.
Apart from those arcs, fans are also keeping an eye out for what Kelsey (Hilary Duff) will deal with after the death of her boyfriend Thad.
“Younger” Season 3 premieres Sept. 28, Wednesday, 10 p.m. on TV Land.
