  • Daniel Cormier believes Jake Paul is unlikely to beat Conor McGregor in boxing
  • Cormier sees Paul having more chance of winning against Dillon Danis
  • Paul has been challenged by retired boxer Antonio Tarver and NHL players

Jake Paul is looking for another fight, and there are a lot of personalities in and out of the sporting world lining up.

But two names that are believed to be on the 23-year-old’s priority list are teammates Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis.

With due respect to Paul’s first two opponents, McGregor and Danis may be harder foes to overcome. But then again, this depends on the type of match that the Internet sensation will agree to. For now, the best bet is a boxing match.

Between McGregor and Danis, the prominent Irishman knows how things go in the boxing ring. In the eyes of former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier, "The Notorious" should come out on top against Paul if it does happen.

However, Cormier feels that if Danis steps up to the plate and engage Paul in a boxing match, the YouTuber holds an edge over the 27-year-old mixed martial artist.

“Conor McGregor beats Jake Paul in a boxing match, but Jake Paul beats Dillon Danis in a boxing match. Dillon does not need to fight Jake. He’ll get beat up,” Cormier’s post read.

It would be best to note that Cormier gave his assessment assuming that Paul would take on either man in the ring.

If it would be inside the cage, it would be the other way around. Danis would give Paul a sound beating with his Brazilia jiu-jitsu pedigree, as per BJPenn.com.

Though Paul mentioned he wanted to fight to prove his detractors wrong, he has been successful in the boxing ring so far. However, many still cast doubts on his pugilistic capabilities since he is facing opponents with less to no experience.

Paul holds knockout wins over the likes of ex-NBA player Nate Robinson and fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib.

There have been familiar names willing to trade leather with Paul. That list includes Ryan Reaves and Evander Kane from the NHL.

Antonio Tarver, an actual and retired boxer, also wants a piece of Paul to see just how good he is in the squared-circle.
