YouTuber Jeffree Star Flies To Wyoming To Get 'Fresh Air' Amid California Wildfires

YouTuber Jeffree Star has flown to his home in Wyoming to escape the smoke from recent wildfires that ravaged California.

The makeup mogul took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal he is traveling to Wyoming on a private jet in order to "get a breath of fresh air."

"I just looked up at the sun and it’s hot red, and there’s smoke kind of just everywhere, lingering. It’s such a weird atmosphere here in California. That means it’s time to go to Wyoming, so I’m going to hop on the jet right now and just get away for a few days. Go visit my house," Star said in his Instagram story, Oil City News reported.

He then pointed at the "red" sun and said L.A. is engulfed in smoke.

"Praying that everyone is OK. It has been such a rough last few weeks," he said.

He then posted multiple photos from inside the jet.

After reaching Wyoming, he posted a video of the plains covered in snow.

"Oh, hello, snow. It’s so good to see you. Officially in Wyoming," he said in the Instagram story.

The wildfires in California have caused poor air quality throughout L.A. and surrounding areas.

"The air is pretty poor. It’s important that people use an app to look at your air quality on a daily basis; even multiple times a day because they forecasts do change,"Glory Dolphin Hammes, the the CEO of IQAir, a company that monitors air quality told Fox LA.

Meanwhile, Star has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. Last week, he faced backlash over defects in his newly-launched eyeshadow palette. Several of his fans said colors in the eyeshadow palette had foreign objects and were crumbly.

Star responded to the backlash saying, "I do need to go and be a boss right now, and go scream at my makeup lab. We have a production issue with the mini orgy palette. When you upscale a project and make 100,000, 200,000, 300,000 units, there sometimes can be issues. And sadly the lab can f--k up. We did have a small batch issue with one of them.”

"But you know me y’all, if anyone ever has an issue with my products I have an amazing customer service team that will handle anyone’s issues," he added.
