  • Atwood clarified that his family was in good health

Popular YouTuber Roman Atwood returned to the platform after a seven-month hiatus and announced that his wife, Brittney, is expecting a baby.

Atwood, who has over 15 million subscribers on YouTube, had been away from social media since December 2019. His last YouTube video too was uploaded the same month.

Following seven months of inactivity, Atwood made a comeback last week and posted two back-to-back videos on YouTube.

The first video was entitled "We Will Never Recover." Though fans would have hoped that Atwood would reveal the reason for his hiatus, the video didn’t really reveal much.

"We still technically shouldn’t be posting. There’s some absolute craziness happening behind the scenes in our lives," he said in the video.

He clarified that his family was in good health.

"We’re all healthy, all of us. As soon as we’re able to tell the story, you’ll be the first to know," he said, adding, "When we are able to tell our story, I hope that it will put you at ease and help you understand what’s been going on in our life."

Brittney too refrained from revealing the reason.

"Sorry it’s been so long. There is a reason. We’re not getting to that yet, but we just wanna say hi and we love you and we miss you," she said, adding, "I know a lot of people are hurt and offended and everything, but once we’re able to let you guys know why we did what we did, then I think it’ll all make sense."

However, two days later, Atwood posted another video in which he revealed that his wife is pregnant and is due to deliver on New Year’s Eve.

"As promised a couple days ago I told you I'd have another video for you. Something very uplifting and full of joy. We are having another baby," he said.

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement about Atwood’s comeback and flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.

"I'm so happy for you guys can't wait to see more post I love you guys," one YouTube user wrote.

"Good to see you back again man!!! Our family missed ya!!" wrote another user.

"Missed u so much bro. Glad u r back again :)" another person wrote.
