YouTubers Alissa Violet-Jake Paul Breakup Scandal: Violet Posts Cryptic Tweet After Public Spat
YouTuber Alissa Violet has taken to Twitter to post cryptic tweets ever since she and fellow vlogger Jake Paul got involved in a public spat after cheating allegations.
On Thursday, Violet tweeted saying she has been single and will remain so for years to come.
On Wednesday, she posted a tweet, asking: “Why would a woman stay loyal without a commitment?”
Prior to that, Violet seemingly took a dig at another YouTuber Tessa Brooks for collaborating on a video with Paul. Their collaboration led to speculations whether Brooks is taking sides in Violet and Paul’s breakup.
On Tuesday, Violet took to Twitter apparently addressing Brooks.
Violet and Brooks reportedly stopped following each other on social media.
Paul and Violet faced dating rumors for a long time because of their online collaborations, but they never confirmed or denied the reports. However, Paul recently accused Violet of cheating on him — a claim she denied.
Violet instead said that they were never in a relationship and accused him of removing her from a house she had been sharing with him and other social media stars — Neels Visser, Alex Lange, AJ Mitchell, and twins Lucas and Marcus Dobre — since August 2016. She also said Paul changed the lock on the door to her room.
“Basically, Jake’s kicking me out. He didn’t wanna wait for me to get my apartment, which I’ getting in couple of days. So he’s thrown my stuff downstairs,” Violet said, in a Snapchat video last month, adding she would no longer collaborate with Paul to make videos. “Apparently I don’t live in here anymore. My stuff’s like gone.”
Following this, Paul posted a video blog in which he called the entire situation with Violet “petty stuff” and accused Violet of spreading “vicious” lies about him. He also clarified that the house was not hers and she was “technically” not staying there. According to Paul, she “hurt” his feelings.
Following the drama, Paul tweeted that Violet was “super talented.”
