  • "Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Siege of Paris" was announced as the second DLC of the game
  • A new leak reveals that the second game expansion is scheduled to release in August
  • Ubisoft has not yet revealed the specific release date of the "Siege of Paris" DLC

French video game company Ubisoft previously announced plans to release several post-launch contents to "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" but did not reveal when it will roll out the next downloadable content. Now, several leaks may have pointed out the specific release date of the next game expansion, as well as the trophies that will come with it.

The first leak was shared online recently on Twitter by CriptAssassassINI, who claimed to have received an image from a follower. Apparently, the image shows the release date of "Assassin's Creed: Siege of Paris," which was listed by Xbox for Aug. 5. Interestingly, the listing has since been removed from the Xbox page and it appears as though the user accessed the storefront's Windows version.

While it is safe to say that the slip-up is not actually a slip but just a placeholder, this is not the first instance that the Windows store has accidentally revealed the release date of an upcoming game or expansion. Also, the date Aug. 5 falls on a Thursday, which is the day game developers and publishers usually release expansions of their games.

A few days earlier, the premature trophy list of the next Siege of Paris DLC was leaked on PSNProfiles. It is a fan-favorite site known for tracking trophies of games and expansions. The site shared nine trophies, which were reportedly added to the PS4 version of the game.

The list contains a wide spectrum of trophies ranging from completing the game's main objectives to side missions and eliminating specific targets. There is even a trophy for players who could successfully pet cats. The previous "Assassin's Creed Valhalla Wrath of the Druids" DLC already introduced cats in the game, and it looks like that the domesticated animals are also coming to Paris.

Ubisoft has not yet mentioned anything about the release date of the "Siege of Paris" DLC. So, it is a surprise to see these leaks emerge online.

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is the latest installment to the hit "Assassin's Creed" series. The game was released in November 2020. It is playable on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
