Howard Stern has commented on the controversies involving Ellen DeGeneres and even gave the host an unsolicited advice.

DeGeneres, 62, had to face a lot of criticism in recent months, from people calling her mean to her show being subjected to an internal investigation over toxic workplace complaints. The former 'America’s Got Talent' judge decided to speak about the issues on his SiriusXM show on Monday.

"You know what I’d do if I was Ellen? I would change my whole image. I’d go on the air and be a son of a b---," Stern was quoted by Us Weekly, as saying.

"People would come on and (I would) go, ‘[explicit] you’ [and] just be a pr–k," he continued.

"So you think I’m a pr–k? I’m going to show you exactly. … I’m known on the air as a pr–k, but off the air, I’m known as a great guy, you know, for the most part.”

Stern and DeGeneres are friends and have known each other for years. The host remarried wife Beth Stern in 2019 on the talk show.

Stern’s comments come almost a month after reports of former employees speaking against the host and the toxic culture at the show emerged.

Meanwhile, DeGeneres has apologized to all the staff members in a lengthy letter on July 30.

DeGeneres’ wife Portia de Rossi recently gave an update about the host during her recent outing. On Aug. 9, she was spotted wearing a hat, sunglasses and a scarf during an outing with her mom, Margaret, and their two dogs in Santa Barbara, Calif.

A man asked de Rossi how she was doing and she said she was good. When asked about her wife DeGeneres, the "Arrested Development" star said she was doing "great."

The man holding the camera also asked deRossi if DeGeneres will continue her show or not and the "Scandal" star gave an affirmative response.

"Yes, she is," de Rossi said.

Meanwhile, just recently, another man came forward and shared how DeGeneres bullied him when he was just 11 years old. Ben Gravolet, who is based in Louisiana, claimed that the host used to work in an agency owned by his mom in the lakeside New Orleans. DeGeneres was only in her 20s at the time, and she would often attack him due to his weight to the point that he didn't want to visit his mom's office anymore.

"I would dread going to [my mom's] office to see her after school or on a day if I was sick and Ellen was there," Gravolet told DailyMailTV.

"She would criticize my weight. I would try to do homework in the office, she'd call me stupid, she'd call me fat. She would criticize my clothes. I was just a boy and this was a grown woman who took pleasure in seeing me become visibly upset. I don't think there's any excuse for it. I was a defenseless kid. What could I have told her back?”

Gravolet wasn't the first to share about his not-so-kind encounter with DeGeneres. In March, Kevin T. Porter started a thread on Twitter encouraging others to share their disappointing experiences with DeGeneres and many responded to the thread with their personal stories.
