Twitter users would rather have "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" get canceled than see James Corden replacing the Grammy nominated artist on her talk show.

DeGeneres' show has been subjected to internal investigation due to several complaints over its alleged "toxic" working environment. There are rumors that Corden will be replacing DeGeneres, but Twitter users strongly disapprove of the idea and they would rather see the show off the air than have Corden on it.

"Why are ppl talking about replacing Ellen with James Corden?? Cancel the show and bring back Oprah plz," @akaThursday wrote.

"Why not just cancel the show?? James Corden is literally the only host who could do worse than Ellen," @Ranting4health added.

"Instead of replacing Ellen with James Corden, just cancel the whole show," @thatwritechick commented.

"Let’s just cancel the whole concept of the *llen show it’s obvious these grown a-- people don’t know how to act when give an audience n a pretty penny so no please don’t let james corden ‘take over’ the *llen show," @byslexics suggested.

"Nobody asked for James. Just cancel it. Ellen’s show was just trash anyway that won’t be missed. Her show didn’t enlighten or entertain. It was unecessary fluff," @electricsoul123 wrote.

"Just cancel the show already nobody wants see James Corden on the Ellen show!!” Eduard Guttierez shared the same opinion.

"Canceling the show is probably a better option," another user wrote in response to a report about Corden replacing DeGeneres.

Meanwhile, some also supported the idea of seeing Corden on DeGeneres' timeslot. For them, he is the perfect choice because just like DeGeneres, he is funny.

"Excellent choice!!! He's perfect and everyone loves him," @HoweJacq wrote.

"That would be awesome, I love James Corden's Carpool Karaoke and his hilarious skits! He always makes me laugh out loud and he has great guest!!!" @Christy33866802 opined.
