  • Rockstar Games is known for hiding clues about upcoming games in its titles
  • According to rumors, Caro Perico Heist may contain some clues about "GTA 6" Vice City
  • The studio remains silent about "GTA 6"

Rockstar Games may have buried a lot of clues hinting at "GTA 6" Vice City in its recently launched Cayo Perico Heist in "GTA Online," according to rumors.

Rockstar Games is known for placing Easter eggs in some of its titles. Fans feel that they serve as clues to the gaming studio's other games and future projects. It appears that the studio has done it again, and this time, it's in the Cayo Perico heist of "GTA Online."

The first easter egg that may have something to do with "GTA 6" Vice City involves a free jacket rewarded to players who take part in the 100 Billion Heist Challenge. According to Comicbook, players could get the Panther Varsity jacket, which seems "normal" at first glance. The back of the jacket, however, bears the words, "Hostes Ad Pulverem Ferire." The same text is used in one of the government buildings in the original "GTA Vice City" game, the report reveals.

Apart from this, the new Cayo Perico update in "GTA Online" introduces a new character named Gustavo. The minor character dons a Hawaiian shirt with a white and orange color combination. The site claims that the shirt is almost similar to the shirt that Gonzalez wears in the Vice City game and Vice City Stories.

There are several possible explanations behind these details. They could just be mere coincidences or perhaps Rockstar Games simply opted to reuse some of its old designs. It is also probable that the gaming studio is only paying homage to the iconic game. Some fans beg to differ, however, believing that these details have something to do with "GTA 6" Vice City. Considering the studio's fondness for teasing games, some fans can't help but speculate.

In the absence of any official confirmation and announcement from Rockstar Games, fans have been creatively finding clues and hints that could convince them that "GTA 6" is in the works.

Currently, Rockstar Games is working on a new "GTA 5" to be released on Xbox Series X and X and PS5. The game is reportedly dropping sometime in the second half of 2021.
