“Supernatural” actor Mark Sheppard reveals that Crowley is determined to take revenge on Lucifer and become the king of hell again. Don’t miss the Season 12 premiere on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW. The CW

If there’s anything better than watching a humiliated Crowley last season, it’s watching the former king of hell exact vengeance on Lucifer. Last time “Supernatural” fans saw the witty son of Rowena on The CW, he was being humiliated and tormented by the fallen angel. Now, he’s back in action in Season 12.

Mark Sheppard, the actor who played Crowley, said in an interview, “It’s a very, very interesting turn I think as we are going into Season 12. There are lots of things that haven’t been answered that are going to have to be answered this season. Unfortunately, Lucifer has control over hell again. And, hopefully, we should see this season whether Crowley gets that back.”

The interview is interspersed with some exclusive video from the Season 12 premiere of “Supernatural.” In it, two demons are conversing. One of them says that Lucifer (Rick Springfield) isn’t telling them where he is because he thinks they are being followed. In walks Crowley, the man who was following Lucifer and the demons.

Crowley then tells his former minions that Lucifer’s last meeting with The Darkness/Amara (Emily Swallow) must have really weakened him because he is jumping from vessel to vessel to vessel. The scene then shows an apartment full of dead bodies that were once Lucifer’s hosts. It’s because he’s weak that he is running.

One demon stands up to Crowley and declares, “As long as he’s out there, hell will never follow you.” Ever one to dish out quick, sarcastic replies, Rowena’s (Ruth Connell) son replies, “Well, like they say, Duh.”

Crowley isn’t the only one after the devil. Castiel (Misha Collins) will join forces with him in order to take down the angel who was once God’s favorite son.
