10 Examples That Show Life Is Easier For People With Money Than For Those Without
When people are asked what the most important thing in the world is for them, some say it's love, while others say it's family. Sure, we need all of that, but if there's one thing we cannot function without, it is money. People need money for everything, be it for basic neccesities like food and water, or to enjoy a bit more of life by travelling and celebrating milestones.
Those who make more money have access to expensive things from all around the world while people who make the bare minimum have to save every penny just to get by every day.
Here are some examples of folks who are living in poverty, or just getting by with a basic income, sharing how life is actually more expensive for the poor when compared to the rich, and some of these are truly heartbreaking.
1. "Not having in-home laundry is a great example. Say it costs you $4 to do your laundry each week (which I think is very cheap). In 5 years you will have spent over $1000 on laundry. For $1000 you can get a good washing machine that would last you through those 5 years, then another 5 years, and maybe a lot more. And that doesn't count the time saved doing laundry at home, and any transportation costs." Ladis_Wascheharuum
