Tammy Slaton is still in rehab for food addiction, but she is active on social media.
The "1000-lb Sisters" star, 35, has been staying at a weight loss rehab facility in Ohio for more than a month, with her brother Chris revealing on their TLC show that she's lost 115 pounds just 30 days into her stay there.
Amid her journey to lose weight to be eligible for bariatric surgery, Slaton has been sharing videos on TikTok, and on Saturday, the reality star also posted her first tweet since October last year.
"Heyyy yall," she wrote on Twitter along with a crossed-finger emoji.
Fans showered Slaton with messages of support and encouraged her to continue her health journey while in rehab.
"I am a huge fan, I love you so much!!! You are so funny!! I just want you to know that you are amazing just the way you are and don't let the haters get to you!!! You and your sister are role models to me!!" one person commented.
"Good luck, Tammy, you got this rehab thing. You can do it!" another fan tweeted.
Another Twitter user, who said she is a mom of three adult children and grandmother to three, offered to be Slaton's "texting buddy" and encouraged her to "keep your head up."
Some users, however, slammed Slaton for her behavior on her show.
One viewer who described himself as a "heavy person" said that while he enjoys watching "1000-lb Sisters" because he admires "people attempting to better themselves," he finds Slaton "disgusting" due to her alleged "nasty attitude." He also claimed that the reality star has "no appreciation for anyone."
Another user alleged that Tammy was "jealous" of her sister Amy.
"They might as well cancel it," another netizen said of their TLC series. " Amy doesn’t want to do it. Tammy is just mean and blames everyone else. I wish them the best, but I’m over it. Maybe do a Slaton Christmas so we can catch up with everyone, but the show itself has stalled out."
Last week, Slaton clapped back at one critic who claimed that the reality star "doesn't care" about her health.
"I don't care about my health?" Slaton said in a since-deleted TikTok video. "Yeah! I wish y'all would give me some credit, man, like, I was trying."
Slaton told her followers that she was "trying," but some critics were "holding her down," adding that "true fans would ride or die."
Amy recently claimed during an interview with The Sun that her sister lost her home in Kentucky amid her stay at the rehab facility as Tammy could no longer afford to pay rent.
Amy revealed that the TLC show is not covering Tammy's rehab expenses and that the latter has been paying for her stay there using her social security checks. She added that once her sister leaves rehab, Tammy will come to stay with her until they find her a new house.
The reality star said she is not sure when Tammy will return home but knows that her sister is "getting the help she needs."
"If she needs to be up there for a year, two years, that's fine. She needs the help," Amy said.
Meanwhile, Amy said in a separate interview that she isn't sure if she will return for another season of "1000-lb Sisters" if TLC decides to renew it. She explained that her current pregnancy and her 15-month-old son, Gage, require most of her time and attention but added that she would consider signing on for a fourth season if producers cut down her filming hours.
"1000-lb Sisters" Season 3 aired its finale episode last month. TLC has not yet announced if it will renew the series for another season.
