“Christmas On My Mind”

  • Based on: “The Goodbye Bride” by Denise Hunter
  • Stars: Ashley Greene, Andrew Walker, and Jackée Harry
  • Premieres: Dec. 19 at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
  • Deadline synopsis: When Lucy (Greene) wakes up with a wedding dress in hand, she believes that she is late to her wedding with her ex-boyfriend Zac (Walker). However, she has no recollection of the past two years, including the fact that she is engaged to another man. With Zac’s help, Lucy sets off on an adventure in Bedford Harbor to fill the gaps in her memory, and finds old romantic feelings reigniting during the Christmas season.

Original story: Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Christmas 2019 movie season is upon us, which means dozens of new, holiday-themed films are on the way. While a lot of them are completely original stories, quite a few of the upcoming flicks are actually based on books.

Here are 11 Hallmark movies premiering during Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas 2019 that are based on novels, as well as when you can catch them on TV.

“Christmas Wishes & Mistletoe Kisses”

  • Based on: “Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses” by Jenny Hale
  • Stars: Jill Wagner, Matthew Davis and Donna Mills
  • Premieres: Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel
  • Hallmark synopsis: Weeks before Christmas, Abbey (Wagner) is hired to decorate the estate of businessman Nick (Davis). She must break down the wall between her and Nick, all while keeping the holiday spirit alive.

“Nostalgic Christmas”

  • Based on: “The House of Wooden Santas” by Kevin Major
  • Stars: Brooke D’Orsay and Trevor Donovan
  • Premieres: Oct. 31 at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
  • Hallmark synopsis: Anne Garrison’s (D’Orsay) annual holiday visit to the small town in Maine where she grew up is somewhat bittersweet this year. With her dad set to sell his toy store and retire from his wood-carving career, and the town’s lumber mill up for sale, this will probably be her last Christmas there. But when Anne is drafted and paired with handsome local widower Keith McClain (Donovan) to co-chair the town’s Christmas celebration, she begins to question what she really wants in life. Soon, Anne becomes torn between returning to her fast-paced career in New York and remaining in the small town to take over her dad’s hand-carved wooden toy business and seeing where a burgeoning romance with Keith might lead.

“A Blue Ridge Mountain Christmas”

  • Based on: “A Christmas Bride” by Hope Ramsay
  • Stars: Rachael Leigh Cook and Benjamin Ayres
  • Premieres: Nov. 7 at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
  • Hallmark synopsis: Hotel manager Willow (Cook) returns to her stunning Virginia hometown to help her sister plan a Christmas wedding at the inn her family once owned. She must work with current owner and single dad David (Ayres), who wants to let go of the past.

“Picture a Perfect Christmas”

  • Based on: “A Family Under the Christmas Tree” by Terri Reed
  • Stars: Merritt Patterson and Jon Cor
  • Premieres: Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel
  • Hallmark synopsis: The movie centers around an extreme sports photographer (Patterson) who returns home for the holiday to look after her grandmother and ends up lending a helping hand to a neighbor (Cor) who needs assistance watching his nephew.

“The Mistletoe Secret”

  • Based on: “The Mistletoe Secret” by Richard Paul Evans
  • Stars: Kellie Pickler, Tyler Hynes, Christopher Russell and Patrick Duffy
  • Premieres: Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel
  • Hallmark synopsis: When Aria Eubank (Pickler) convinces a famous travel writer to do a feature story on her beloved hometown, Midway, Utah, it looks like the town’s tourism drop is about to be reversed. However, when the travel guru and his ghostwriter both show up, Aria finds her heart torn between the charismatic but pompous Sterling Masters (Russell) and Alex Bartlett (Hynes), the real talent behind ‘Masters of Travel,’ and the man who has genuinely fallen for her.

“A Godwink Christmas: Meant for Love”

  • Based on: The “Godwink” book series by SQuire Rushnell and Louise DuArt
  • Stars: Cindy Busby, Benjamin Hollingsworth and Kathie Lee Gifford
  • Premieres: Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
  • Hallmark synopsis: Multiple coincidences and a chance meeting bring Alice (Busby) and Jack (Hollingsworth), two strangers from very different family backgrounds, together for a weekend wedding celebration. Encouraged by her family, led by mom Olga (Gifford), Alice slowly lets go of her reservations about meeting someone new following a failed long-distance relationship. Meanwhile, more and more Godwinks – those coincidences that aren’t really coincidences at all – bring Alice and Jack closer as each attempts to balance the newfound attraction with their complicated professional lives.

“Christmas Under the Stars”

  • Based on: “The Christmas Tree Lot” by Rikk Dunlap
  • Stars: Jesse Metcalfe, Autumn Reeser and Clarke Peters
  • Premieres: Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel
  • Hallmark synopsis: When Nick (Metcalfe), a career-focused investment banker, is fired from his high-powered firm at Christmastime, he takes a job at a Christmas tree lot owned by a warmhearted widower. There, he meets Julie (Reeser), an astronomy teacher who’s always looked to the stars for hope. As the Christmas spirit washes over him — and he begins falling for Julie — the once self-centered Nick discovers the joy of helping others.

“Holiday Hearts”

  • Based on: "The Christmas Wish” by Barbara Ankrum
  • Stars: Ashley Williams and Paul Campbell
  • Premieres: Nov. 21 at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
  • Hallmark synopsis: While planning an annual Christmas party, Peyton (Williams) is forced together with Ben (Campbell) to care for a friend’s daughter. While finding their Christmas spirit, will there be some romance along the way?

“Cherished Memories: A Gift to Remember 2”

  • Based on: Sequel to “A Gift to Remember” by Melissa Hill
  • Stars: Ali Liebert, Peter Porte and Tina Lifford
  • Premieres: Nov. 24 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel

“The Christmas Club”

  • Hallmark synopsis: Two busy strangers, Olivia Bennett (Mitchell) and Edward Taylor (Mathison) meet when they help an elderly woman find her lost Christmas savings. Thanks to fate and Christmas magic, they also find something they were both missing: true love.

“Christmas Town”

  • Based on: “The Christmas Town” by Donna VanLiere

  • Hallmark synopsis: Lauren Gabriel (Bure) leaves everything behind in Boston to embark on a new chapter in her life and career.
