An 11-year-old boy who was shot at his home in Minnesota on Saturday held on to his life long enough to reveal the name of the suspect to the police.

According to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday, Ja'Corbie Wallace told police that his mother's boyfriend, Tekeith Jones, 25, fatally shot his mother and sister – 30-year-old D'Zondria Wallace and 13-year-old La'Porsha, reported ABC News.

Ja'Corbie, who was still breathing when officers arrived at the home, was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to gunshot wounds.

Jones has been charged with three counts of second-degree intentional murder.

While D'Zondria was shot twice, La'Porsha sustained 10 gunshot wounds, the Ramsey County medical examiner said. The boy had been shot five times.

According to prosecutors, police arrived at an apartment in St. Paul on Saturday afternoon after receiving a 911 call. The officers saw La'Porsha's body blocking the door. D'Zondria's body found lying face down on the couch.

Ja'Corbie was seen lying face down but was breathing. When an officer asked who shot him, he replied "Keith".

D'Zondria's nephew told police that Jones had been violent with his aunt and even fired a shot at her in the past. He said Jones once tried to break into the house through the kitchen window before attacking D'Zondria.

Surveillance footage obtained by the police showed a man "peeking outside" the family's home 30 minutes before the bodies were discovered. He was seen fleeing in a silver jeep. Jones was arrested Sunday from an apartment four miles away from the crime scene.

Police said Jones confessed to the crime. He told them he was trying to save them from feeling the pain that he felt. Pointing to the pictures of the victims, Jones told police, "Hell yeah, I saved them – they can go up there and be holy." He said he's not a monster and that he kissed all three of them.

Jones' first court appearance was held Tuesday.

In a statement, Ramsey County Attorney John Choi said they will do everything in their power to bring justice to the victims and the community.
