14-Year-Old Boy Stabs Mother's Abusive Boyfriend, Bludgeons Him To Death

A teen boy has been accused of murdering his mother's boyfriend. He was reportedly frustrated because the victim had assaulted him and his mother on a regular basis.

A 14-year-old boy from city of Ahmedabad in Western Indian state of Gujarat has been detained for killing his mother's boyfriend.

The teenager, who was fed up with the repeated assault committed by the victim, bought a knife from his friend and took the victim to a secluded area on his scooter on May 17. The boy first stabbed the victim with the knife and bludgeoned him later to ensure that he was dead, police said Thursday.

Investigators found that the boy's mother had eloped with the victim and started living with him from the time the boy was four. According to the boy, ever since they moved in with the victim, he began harassing his mother. The victim started assaulting the boy soon as he often tried to intervene when his mother was being beaten up.

"He used to beat the boy's mother every day and whenever the boy tried to intervene, he would also be beaten," an officer from a specialized investigating agency said as per Times of India.

The investigating agency seized the knife that is believed to be used in the killing. The agency also confiscated the scooter the suspect had used to take the victim to the secluded area on the night of the murder.

The agency handed over the case to the local police for further investigation, according to Times Now News.

Not too long ago, another 14-year-old boy was arrested in the city of Bengaluru in India for murdering his father in his sleep and accidentally killing his mother in the process. According to reports, the boy was upset with his father who had always mocked him and his brother for a skin condition they had. On the night of the murder, the boy reportedly dropped a boulder on his sleeping father's head. However, the boulder also hit his mother, causing her death.
