At least 27 persons were declared dead and 97 others were severally injured as two blasts rocked the Syria's capital Damascus Saturday morning, Health Minister Wael Al Halaqi stated on Syria News.
The two deadly explosions, apparently a terrorist attack, were timed minutes apart to trigger utmost disaster and were supposedly carried out by the rebels seeking to throw out the long-standing President Basher al-Assad.
According to the state television channel, among the dead are mostly the security force personnel armed near the Intelligence center building in the Duwar Al Jamarek area and air force intelligence offices in Al Qasaa district.
