The marriage between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is circulating with rumors that may signal that all is not what it seems.

1. High Maintenance

The Duchess of Sussex may be influencing Prince Harry’s character, and it may not be for the better, royal insiders reported to the New York Post's Page Six. Duncan Larcombe, a veteran royal reporter, told the outlet this month that Prince Harry is becoming more high maintenance.

“All of Harry's staff have always thought he was fantastic, but the two of them [together] are high maintenance," Larcombe said.

Larcombe also told the outlet that Prince Harry, 34, has been “quite grumpy and aloof from his own inner circle of staff. Harry was always very pally with [them], so this is very unlike him ... What people love about Harry is that he wears his heart on his sleeve. He's down to earth, a normal guy trapped in the royal world, and he doesn't take himself very seriously. But now he is.”

2. Frustration With Negativity

Prince Harry is also rumored to be becoming frustrated that he is unable to keep his expectant wife away from “negativity and harm,” Yahoo reported last month. Markle, 37, has been criticized by the press for her position within the British royal family and has had much of her behavior curbed as a result.

She is unable to have a social media account and must have all her statements to the public approved by the palace press office, Yahoo reported. The silence has been a real challenge for Markle, who previously regularly posted on social media prior to their marriage.

3. Squashed Ambitions

Markle is also reportedly struggling in her new role as Prince Harry’s wife and has had to squash some of her ambitions, People reported. This may be due to Markle’s Hollywood upbringing as she is not used to being told she can’t do something, according to the magazine's report late last year.

According to a source for the news outlet, “The most difficult job in the royal family is work with Meghan’s ambitions and make them realizable. She will get frustrated if she is told ‘you can’t do this or that.’”
