A teen in Dublin, Ireland, suffered horrific injuries after he was savaged by a pack of six dogs twice in less than a week. While the first attack took place on Sept.13, the second took place three days later.

Christina said her son, 14-year-old Alex, was attacked by the vicious dogs on his way to school last Friday. She said one of the dogs first “eyeballed” the victim before approaching him along with the other canines. On seeing the canines approaching him, Alex started running, however, the dogs caught up to him and attacked him.

"Two dogs started biting his legs, hanging out of either leg while the other four were barking and nipping at him,” Christina said.

A passerby saw the dogs attacking Alex and immediately yelled at the canines, giving the victim enough time to run away from the scene.

Christina said despite the ordeal, her son went to school. He informed her about the attack only after returning from school in the evening. Christina immediately rushed the victim to a nearby hospital. The teen had several bite marks on his body including four deep wounds on his left leg and a puncture mark on the knee. He was administered with penicillin antibiotics.

Unfortunately, when the teen started recovering, he was attacked by the same pack of dogs while walking home during lunchtime on Monday.

Following the incident, Gardaí (police service of the Republic of Ireland) issued a statement saying, "Gardaí in Coolock responded to two separate incidents regarding dog offences on 13th September and 16th September in Grove Lane, Coolock. Gardai maintain a cooperative relationship with the dog warden regarding incidents such as these. On September 17, Coolock Gardai in liaison with the dog warden seized two dogs at an address at Grove Lane."
