A 62-year-old man was attacked by at least seven men when he was walking on the sidewalk of a street in Manhattan, New York City. The shocking incident was caught on camera.
Authorities are now searching for the unidentified male suspects who ganged up on the man Wednesday morning, reported ABC7 NY.
The man, whose identity was not revealed, was walking alone in Midtown Manhattan when one of the suspects asked him, "What are you looking at?" This sparked an argument, which eventually led to the attack, police said.
In a video shared by New York Police Department, one of the suspects can be seen approaching the man from behind and striking him on his head with a wooden object that looked like a bat. The man fell to the ground and as he was struggling to get up, six other men approached him. They stabbed and slashed him multiple times before fleeing.

The man sustained stab and slash wounds to his body, head and nose. Emergency service personnel arrived and transported him to a nearby hospital. He is reportedly stable now.
Police said the suspects fled to the Times Square subway station, and used the entrance at West 44th Street and Eighth Avenue, for the A, C and E lines. However, it was unclear if they were headed uptown or downtown, Pix 11 reported. When their faces were caught on camera, they were reportedly smiling.
NYPD officers believe the victim has no prior relationship or acquaintance with his attackers. They are hoping that the video will help them arrest the suspects. No one has been taken into custody so far.
The NYPD has announced a reward of up to $3,500 for any information that could lead to the arrests. Anyone with information about the attack or the suspects can call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or (for Spanish) 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
