CERSEI DEATH
Will Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-waldau) kill Cersei (Lena Headey) on Season 7 of “Game of Thrones?” HBO

We’re just days away from the Season 7 premiere of “Game of Thrones” now, and fans will soon finally be reunited with their favorite characters in Westeros. However, while everything that’s sure to happen in the new season will likely be epic, there are still some major questions the newest episodes will need to answer.

Whether fans learn the fates of characters they haven’t seen in a while, see things that happened in the books but haven’t yet been on the show, desire closure on some open-ended moments of the past, or just want to see how things will play out following an impressive Season 6 finale, there is much left that needs to be answered. Here are 9 questions we hope to get the answers to in Season 7.

NORTH/WINTERFELL:

What Does Sansa Want, And Will It Change Her Relationship With Jon?

SANSA
What does Sansa (Sophie Turner), pictured with Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen), want in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones?” HBO

During the Season 6 finale, Sansa (Sophie Turner) initially seemed fine with her brother Jon (Kit Harington) assuming control of the North, even though she was the reason they successfully beat the Boltons. However, she did give Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen), who finally admitted he plans to take over the Iron Throne for himself with her at his side as Queen, a significant look as Jon was officially declared “King Of The North.” So is she changing her viewpoint and now wants to rule the North for herself? Is she going to turn on Jon? Is she considering Littlefinger’s offer? Or is she going to find a way to play Littlefinger and get revenge on him for marrying her off to Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) in the first place?

Will Jon Learn The Truth About His Parentage?

JON SNOW
Will Jon (Kit Harington) learn the truth about his parents in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones?” HBO

R+L=J was at least partially confirmed, if not entirely so, in the Season 6 finale. Now that Bran (Isaac Hampstead-Wright) seems to know that Jon actually isn’t Ned Stark’s (Sean Bean) illegitimate son, and is instead the son of Lyanna Stark (Aisling Franciosi) and Rhaegar Targaryen, will he tell Jon the truth if they’re reunited? Will he tell anyone what he’s seen? And if Jon learns this info, what will he do with it?

Will There Be A Stark Reunion?

The Stark siblings have been flung far and wide since Season 1, and until Sansa returned as Ramsay’s wife in Season 5, none of them had been in Winterfell in years. Jon and Sansa are there now, and despite going beyond the Wall, Bran is headed back to Westeros now, and Arya (Maisie Williams) was already at The Twins killing Walder Frey (David Bradley). Winterfell is near the Wall, so Bran is likely to wind up there again, but is Arya going to head back there as well? Or will she still be on the hunt to cross more names off of her kill list?

Will The Wall Fall?

THE WALL
Will The Wall fall and the men who guard it, like Dolorous Edd (Ben Crompton), die on Season 7 of “Game of Thrones?” HBO

The Night King (Richard Brake) has amassed a huge army of the dead as he marches on towards the realms of men, but there is still one major obstacle standing in his way. We learned in the Season 6 finale when Benjen/Cold Hands (Joseph Mawle) revealed he couldn’t cross the Wall because he is technically dead, and the Wall was enchanted with powers when it was built that make it impossible for the Dead to cross to the other side. That means it is impossible for the Night King’s Army to cross over. The only way they can is if the Wall comes down-so will that happen this season and truly bring the war everyone should have paid attention to into the Seven Kingdoms?

KING’S LANDING:

Will Cersei Get Revenge For Myrcella’s Death?

CERSEI REVENGE
Will Cersei (Lena Headey) get revenge for Myrcella’s (Nell Tiger Free) death on Season 7 of “Game of Thrones?” HBO

Cersei (Lena Headey) has never been able to get revenge for the deaths of her children. Though her actions led to Tommen’s (Dean-Charles Chapman) suicide, she still thinks Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) and Sansa poisoned Joffrey (Jack Gleeson), and knows the Sand Snakes and Ellaria (Indira Varma) poisoned Myrcella (Nell Tiger Free). If she gets word that her little brother, as well as Ellaria, Obara (Keisha Castle-Hughes), Nymeria (Jessica Henwick) and Tyene (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers) are headed to town as a part of Daenerys’ (Emilia Clarke) fleet, will she find a way to exact revenge on at least the women who killed her daughter?

Will Jaime Or Someone Else Kill Cersei?

Now that Cersei has (somewhat illegally) assumed the Iron Throne, her enemies, and potentially some former allies, are more likely than ever to want her dead. Because of Maggy the Frog’s (Jodhi May) prophecy, we know that when Cersei dies, it will be at the hands of a Valonquar, or “Little Brother.” That could mean it will be Tyrion, who is her little brother, or even her twin/lover, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), who didn’t look too pleased with her ascending the throne either. It could also be anyone else who could pass as a "“little brother,” and there are many of those who want her dead. Will they succeed this season and kill her?

ELSEWHERE IN WESTEROS:

Are Jon And Dany Going To Hook Up?

Many fans are hoping that leaked footage from the set of Jon and Dany meeting is a sign that the two will hook-up, even though we now know they’re related. The two are going to meet, and hopefully wind up joining forces politically in some way. Could that also lead to a romantic joining as well?

Is Clegane Bowl Going To Happen?

CLEGANE BOWL
Will The Hound (Rory McCann) finally fight in Clegane Bowl on Season 7 of “Game of Thrones?” HBO

Both The Hound (Rory McCann) and The Mountain (Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson) are still alive despite both being on the brink of death in Season 4. The Hound is now with the Brotherhood Without Banners, while The Mountain is still serving, in his no longer dead form, by Queen Cersei’s side. Will they meet again? And when they do, will a battle to the death finally happen between these two?

Most Importantly, WHERE THE HECK IS GENDRY???

via GIPHY

Seriously, WHERE is Gendry (Joe Dempsie)? He can’t seriously still be rowing that boat away from Dragonstone. Did he land somewhere? Is he alive? Will he pose a challenge to Cersei for the Iron Throne as Robert’s (Mark Addy) illegitimate son? Will he ever see Arya again? WHERE ARE YOU GENDRY?????

“Game of Thrones” Season 7 premieres Sunday, July 16 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
