‘90 Day Fiance’ Update: Dean Can’t Forgive ‘Maniac’ Brother Tarik After Argument
When “90 Day Fiance” viewers first met cast member Tarik Myers, they couldn’t help but notice his blunt and outspoken brother Dean Hashim, who was against his relationship with Hazel Cagalitan.
Despite their difference of opinion, the brothers appeared to maintain a close bond. That was until April 2019, when the two got into a huge argument and cut ties with one another.
In an exclusive clip of the upcoming episode of “90 Day Bares All,” shared by Us Weekly, Hashim opened up about why no one should be surprised that the argument while filming “Pillow Talk” ruined his relationship with Myers.
“Everybody who was in that room, when we had that 20-minute argument, and he’s standing over me with his veins out of his neck like a maniac, they know why,” he explained.
“They know why because they witnessed how volatile things get between us and it’s like, ‘Why? For what?’”
After the fight, Hashim quit “Pillow Talk” without informing the “90 Day Fiancé” star about his decision. “I got tired of all of that underlying tension, drama,” he said.
Hashim revealed the “final straw” that pushed him to end his relationship with Myers was the argument. “It just looked foolish to me, and it was stupid, and I was embarrassed. I felt like that was ridiculous,” he added.
In December, Myers told Entertainment Tonight that he no speaks to his brother because Hashim tried to get him fired from “Pillow Talk.”
“There’s bad blood from him to me. It got really ugly. And I don’t even know if I’m supposed to say this or not, but ... he tried to get them to fire me. He told them that if he couldn’t do ‘Pillow Talk’ alone because he was the star, that he’d quit,” Myers said.
“So, news flash, Dean tried to get his brother fired off of ‘Pillow Talk.’ Period. End of story.”
In the sneak peek, Myers can be seen backstage listening to Hashim’s comments about their relationship. However, “90 Day Fiancé” viewers will have to wait to see if the brothers can fix their damaged relationship.
“90 Day Bares All” are released Sundays on Discovery+.
