‘90 Day Fiancé’ Update: Tiffany’s ‘Trust Issues’ Are Threatening Reconciliation With Ronald
Tiffany and Ronald may be back together, but it doesn’t mean their marriage is on solid ground. Although the TLC couple announced their split earlier this year, it appears they are giving their relationship another try.
However from the looks of a “90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined” clip, it appears their reconciliation will be more challenging than they expected.
In a sneak peek of the upcoming episode obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Tiffany admitted that the couple was having a lot of problems since they got back together. As a result, they have decided to seek the help of a marriage counselor.
Since Tiffany has not able to obtain a spousal visa for Ronald to move to the US, he is still living in South Africa. Also, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the couple has also been unable to see each other in person.
“On top of the distance, and this craziness going on right now, there is some trust issues in my relationship with Ronald due to lying because of the gambling addiction. We’re trying to get past it, but all of this at the same time is just too much,” Tiffany confessed in the clip.
Tiffany revealed that she has felt especially overwhelmed by her lack of interaction with others due to practicing social distancing. “I’m not feeling heard by my husband, in a time where I literally can’t turn to anyone else. I can’t go to my friend’s house, I really can’t do anything,” she explained.
“And the only person that I can count on, or lean on their shoulder, is my husband,” the “90 Day Fiancé” star added.
In January, Tiffany announced that she and Ronald had split less than a year after welcoming their first child together. Tiffany revealed the news to her followers via Instagram Story.
“Unfortunately, I have to announce that Ronald and I will be separating. I wanted to be the first to let you know rather than hiding it and putting on a facade for social media,” she wrote in the post.
“Thank you guys for following our story we really love each other, but some things are just irreparable. We both deserve much better than what we can offer at the moment. Lots of love from us.”
“90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined” airs Monday at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC.
