Aaron Rodgers-Olivia Munn Update: Are They Engaged? Gorgeous Rock On Actress' Ring Finger Sparks Rumors
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his girlfriend Olivia Munn sparked engagement rumors over the weekend after the actress was spotted wearing a sparkling rock on her left hand ring finger. The news comes amid Rodgers' ongoing family drama, which heated up after 33-year-old started dating Munn.
On Friday, the "Ocean's Eight" star was spotted sporting the sparkler in Beverly Hills, California, giving rise to speculation that wedding bells may soon ring for the two. Photos of the actress show the ring that has a big ruby, surrounded by a halo of diamonds on a gold band.
This is not the first time that engagement rumors surrounding the two have made the rounds. Last year, similar rumors surfaced, but were later debunked by Munn via an Instagram post.
In the post, Munn shared a photo of a conversation with her mom, captioning it: "Answering yes or no to personal questions can be tricky because if you say 'No' it means whenever you say 'No comment' that kind of becomes your default 'Yes'. But since I'm doing press for the next few days, I didn't want to have to answer the same question over and over. So instead, I'm going to let my text conversation with my Asian mom help me out."
The engagement rumors come amid problems in Rodgers' family that gained spotlight after his father, Ed, said in a New York Times interview earlier this month that he stopped talking to his son shortly after he started dating Munn. Rodgers has reportedly been dating the Hollywood star since 2014.
A source told People magazine that Rodgers is unhappy with speculation that Munn played a role in the family drama. However, he is yet to comment on his ongoing family problems.
“Olivia doesn’t really have anything to do with it,” the source reportedly said. “This is not her issue; this is the Rodgers family issue.”
Meanwhile, Munn has been very supportive of Rodgers, and the actress shared a message after the Green Bay Packers lost to the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC championship game earlier this month.
"So proud of this team. They faced a lot of adversity on and off the field, but battled to get this far," Munn wrote. "THANK YOU to those of you who encouraged and supported them by choosing to put out only positive energy."
