After hitting up Miami Beach on Monday with episode 1 of ABC’s “Grand Hotel,” the next stop on the network’s itinerary for viewers is a Pacific Island paradise with the series premiere of “Reef Break” on Thursday.

Created by Ken Sanzel, the series follows “Cat Chambers [Poppy Montgomery], a thief-turned-fixer for the governor of a stunning and seductive Pacific Island paradise,” according to the synopsis. “Impulsive, reckless and irresistible, Cat’s less-than-perfect past gives her an instinctive gift for understanding crime and criminals as she becomes enmeshed in fast-paced, high octane adventures and island intrigue.”

Before going on this crazy, summer-long adventure with ABC’s “Reef Break” cast, get to know them a little bit better:

Poppy Montgomery (Cat Chambers)

The Australian actress is best known for her role of Samantha Spade on CBS’ police procedural “Without a Trace,” her time as Jennifer Lukens on ABC’s short-lived “Relativity” and for portraying the lead of Carrie Wells on CBS’ crime-drama “Unforgettable.”

Ray Stevenson (Jake Elliot)

Aside from his recurring roles on shows like “Black Sails,” “Dexter” and “Medici,” Stevenson also played Volstagg in the “Thor” franchise, Marcus in the “Divergent” series and Murlaugh in “Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant.”

Desmond Chiam (Wyatt Cole)

Most recently, Chiam starred as Jethro in the first season of Starz’s “Now Apocalypse” and recurred on the final season of Spike’s “The Shannara Chronicles” as General Riga.

Melissa Bonne (Ana Dumont)

Her family-friendly soccer flick, “Back of the Net,” premiered on Disney Channel earlier this month, but before that, Bonne worked on Australian shows like “Janet King,” “Pulse” and “Home and Away.”

Tamala Shelton (Petra)

Fans of online streaming might recognize Shelton from the fantasy-drama series “Cleverman,” where she played Alinta, as the Australian show is available on Netflix. She was also in the Australian teen series “Nowhere Boys,” which also starred Nickelodeon “Every Witch Way” actor Rahart Adams.

“Reef Break” Season 1 premieres on Thursday on ABC at 10 p.m. EDT.
