After the box office success of the 2016 action film “The Accountant,” Ben Affleck is ready to reprise his role as Christian Wolff. In a recent interview, the actor shared some details about the progress of the sequel and said that he is ready to make a TV series about this math savant.

Affleck is currently busy promoting his new movie “The Way Back.” In an interview with Collider he also talked about making a sequel to “The Accountant” and revealed some of the challenges they are facing.

The first thing they need to make the sequel is the script. However, Bill Dubuque, who wrote the script for the first film, has become busy with other projects after becoming a very successful writer.

Someone suggested to Affleck that they could get a script of another movie that is yet to be made and then “retrofit” it to make “The Accountant” sequel. The actor explained that this idea will not work because the character Christian Wolff has some very specific traits that make him unique.

Affleck joked that they can’t take a script that was called “Action Movie Shootout” and use it to make the sequel about the math savant. The producers are also debating about whether or not to make a TV series about the character.

As far as Affleck is concerned, he said he will be “thrilled” to reprise his role as Christian. He added that he loved working with director Gavin O’Connor on the first film, and he is keen on working with the director again.

Meanwhile, Affleck is currently busy filming his new movie “The Last Duel” with his friend Matt Damon, TMZ reported. This is the first time the two actors are working on a project together since 2004.

Pictures from the production set of “The Last Duel” that have been posted on People show Affleck with blonde hair and a goatee. The movie is expected to be released by late 2020 or early 2021.
