Joseph Son, who appeared in the first ‘Austin Powers’ movie, has been sentenced to life in prison in the 1990 gang rape of a Southern California woman.

Forty-year-old Son was found guilty of one felony count of torture, AP news agency reported, quoting a spokeswoman for the Orange County district attorney. The bit actor was linked to the crime through DNA evidence.

Son and co-defendant Santiago Lopez Gaitan abducted the woman from near her apartment on Christmas Eve.

The duo drove the woman to Huntington Beach. They repeatedly raped and sodomized her in the back of the car at gunpoint.

They beat and threatened to kill her. The woman begged for her life, and they released her, naked, badly injured and blindfolded.

Gaitan was sentenced to 17 years and four months in state prison.
