Adele Announces The Release Date Of Her First Album In Six Years '30'
Adele announced on Wednesday that she will be releasing her first album in six years, titled “30.”
The album will be released on Nov. 19 and follows previous albums that have been named by her age at the time when she started them. Her past albums were “21” and “25” which had both made it into the top 50 biggest-selling albums.
In an Instagram post, the singer says that she started the album three years ago but has been caught up in “turmoil,” which had put a pause on the release.
In the post, she wrote about the situation, explaining the delay.
“And yet there I was knowingly – willingly even, throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil! I’ve learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way. I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I’ve finally found my feeling again. I’d go as far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life. And so, I’m ready to finally put this album out,” Adele wrote.
Adele will be releasing one song from the album, “Easy on Me,” on Friday.
Adele is largely known for her major hits like “Rolling in the Deep” and Hello,” which have landed her albums at the top of the charts. Although it has taken the singer an extended period of time to release her album, there is an expectation for it to be "full of emotion."
