Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell, 54, and wife Lauren Sanchez, 49, are close to finalizing their divorce. The couple has been separated since 2018, prior to public revelations of Sanchez’s high-profile affair with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.

According to an anonymous source cited by New York Post's Page Six, the couple has long since agreed to the terms of their divorce, which they settled on with a mediator since before the public became aware of Sanchez’s high-profile affair in January. They have two children together.

A Los Angeles-area judge is expected to sign off on the divorce sometime in the coming weeks.

The ripple effect of the bombshell affair had long been felt prior to the couple’s final separation. Bezos finalized his own divorce from ex-wife and novelist MacKenzie Bezos in April. Per the terms of their divorce, MacKenzie Bezos owned roughly 4% of Amazon, a stake that was worth roughly $36 billion, making her among the richest women in the world.

Whitesell, meanwhile, has already begun dating Australian actress Pia Miller, known for her works on Aussie soap operas like “Neighbors” and “Home and Away.”

Whitesell is a talent agent who has worked at the Endeavor Talent Agency since 2001. He represents a number of high-profile Hollywood, including Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, Gal Gadot, Hugh Jackman and Matt Damon.

Sanchez, a native of New Mexico, has served as a news and sports anchor.
