“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2 is about to uncover even more answers, but those answers will come at a high price. In episode 8, S.H.I.E.L.D. found where the city they’re looking for is located. According to the synopsis for Season 2, episode 9, they’ll be trying to get there. But they aren’t the only ones looking.

The synopsis reveals that S.H.I.E.L.D. will find the city they’re seeking before Hydra, but that doesn’t take away any danger. One of the agents may have “to make the ultimate sacrifice” to get the answers they’re looking for.

Hydra is still a major presence in the episode. Whitehall (Reed Diamond) seems to want Raina (Ruth Negga). Perhaps he figured out that she can touch the obelisk without being harmed. May (Ming-Na Wen) and Skye (Chloe Bennet) will have to “race to get to Raina before Whitehall takes her,” the synopsis teases.

The synopsis leaves out any mention of May’s doppelganger, but luckily the promo video for episode 9 reveals plenty. Aside from trying to find Raina, May and Skye will have to deal with someone running around with May’s face. This wouldn’t be the first time May has had to fight herself this season, but it seems the lookalike will end up fighting Skye instead. Although May has been training her, Skye typically helps S.H.I.E.L.D. with technology rather than field work. Is Skye ready for this kind of fight?
