‘Agents Of SHIELD’ Season 7 Premiere: 6 Things To Know About The Final Episodes
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is ending with a time travel adventure that’s full of action, familiar faces and new places. Before ABC’s Wednesday night premiere, check out a few teasers for the new episodes.
Coulson Never Wanted To Be An LMD: Let’s remember the Framework arc and how well that went. It’s safe to say that Coulson (Clark Gregg) had no intention of being an LMD, and he’ll have mixed feelings about the gang bringing him back in this way. Heading back to the 1930s, however, is something he is totally geeking out over.
May Is Injured: In the Season 6 finale, May (Ming-Na Wen) was stabbed by Sarge, but she fought through the pain to kill Izel. By the end of the hour, she was saying her last words to Daisy (Chloe Bennet), expecting that she’d die. Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) is fixing her up, but don’t expect to see May in action in the premiere.

Yo-Yo’s New Hands: Elena (Natalia Cordova) is given new prosthetics, but she has complicated feelings about switching out her limbs. They’re not clothing, and she’s finally used to her first ones.
Simmons’ Secrets: Jemma Simmons is very mysterious in the Season 7 premiere. It’s clear that Simmons has been gone for quite a while, but she won’t say if it’s been months or years.
She and Fitz (Iain DeCaestecker) have agreed to not know where the other is in case Chronicoms read their minds. She won’t explain exactly why he is gone or how long they’ve been separated. It’s too dangerous for Fitz and Simmons to know where the other is, so expect one last epic reunion sometime in the final season of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” The premiere, however, is a Fitz-less episode.
The VIPs: Though the focus is on saving S.H.I.E.L.D., expect the agents to run into some very important people in the past. A future president is on screen, and bartender Freddie (Darren Barnet) has an unexpected connection to the future.
Time Hopping: It sounds like “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 7 won’t stay in the 1930s for long. “I will say we definitely stay busy traveling. It’s really fun to see which time period matches different characters, and which ones feel most at home in different time periods,” Chloe Bennet told Syfy Wire.
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 7 premieres Wednesday at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC after “Thor: The Dark World” airs on The Wonderful World of Disney.
