An agreement has been reached at the Rio+20 gathering, negotiators said Tuesday.

The text of the agreement calls for urgent action on sustainable global production and consumption, but gives no detail on when and how this is to be achieved.

The Rio+20 meeting comes 20 years after the original Earth Summit in the Brazilian city.
