AirPods Pro Too Expensive? Get Sony's Noise Canceling Earbuds Instead

Apple recently released its new AirPods Pro, a premium pair of truly wireless headphones that offer premium sound quality, noise cancellation features, and a lot more for $249. It's more expensive compared to the second-gen AirPods released earlier this year, but it does bring a host of additional features and benefits.

With that said, not a lot of people can afford to buy a set of audio accessories that sell for a price higher than some smartphones in the market today. Noise-canceling features

The WF-1000XM3 houses the HD noise-canceling QN1e component similar to the one used by Sony's acclaimed WH-1000XM3 noise-canceling headphones, and two microphones that monitor ambient noise.

The two microphones on the wireless in-ear headphones (one feed-forward and another feed-back) listen to noise surrounding the user, then pass the data to the QN1e processor, which creates a sound to offest outside noise. The result is less noise and more music.

Great fit

Sony designed the WF-1000XM3 so that it will fit in a user's ears perfectly, thereby lowering the risk of falling and improving sound isolation. The audio accessory comes with seven tips of differing sizes, so users can customize the fit to their preference.

Long battery life

The WF-1000XM3 lasts for six hours on a single charge, which is a bit longer than the AirPods Pro's 4.5 hours with ANC turned on. The charging case provides three more charges, allowing the device to be used for a full 24 hours before needing to charge both the case and the device itself.
