All The 2017 Emmys ‘Saturday Night Live’ Won And Lost
A show doesn’t air for 42 seasons and counting without gaining some recognition and in the world of “Saturday Night Live,” it’s a lot of recognition.
The series was nominated in many categories at the 2017 Emmys, which aired on CBS on Sunday, including outstanding guest actor in a comedy series and outstanding original music and lyrics.
The show’s writers, directors, costumers, actors, actresses, hairstylists and the show itself were nominated this year, but, unfortunately, they couldn’t all be winners. It literally wasn’t possible as many of the categories had multiple nominees from “Saturday Night Live.” Talk about stacking the odds. But, then again, the NBC show is just that good.
Here are the awards “Saturday Night Live” was up for at the Emmys this year, as well as if they ended up taking home the award or not. (The list will be updated throughout the show).
