Thandiwe Newton revealed details of the "intense" love-making scene she filmed with co-star Chris Pine in the upcoming spy thriller movie, "All the Old Knives."

The 49-year-old actress, who attended the special screening of the movie held at The London West Hollywood in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, said she was a little nervous filming steamy scenes with the 41-year-old actor.

"We had a really intense scene right in the middle of the movie it was really important and required nudity and so on," she told ET. "And I just caught a glimpse of Chris at one point, like we are getting into costumes and hair and makeup, and I'm like, 'Oh, no, no. No."

The actress went on to share that Pine is a "sweetie" and the "intimacy was handled so beautifully."

She also shared that they had an "intimacy coordinator" on set so that they know what was happening and "what was going where."

The intimacy coordinator was an essential part of the production because of the nudity and intimacy scenes, Newton noted. "It's all about consent," she said. "That's why we have the intimacy coordinator. Everyone consents to every detail of what's happening. Everyone's in agreement... and then we go to work."

One of the fans shared a clip from the special screening, where Pine also spoke about the intimate scenes. The actor explained that when he read the script for the first time, he "didn't think about the sex scenes so much."

Another fan shared Pine's red carpet photos, where the actor can be seen sporting a beard.

"All the Old Knives" is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video, on April 8. Helmed by director Janus Metz Pedersen, the movie also stars Michelle Williams, Jonathan Pryce, Ahd Kamel and David Bedella.

The plot follows a CIA officer who finds out that one of the agents is leaking classified information that results in the death of over 100 people. Veteran operative Henry Pelham, played by Pine, takes the charge to find the agent leaking the information with his former lover and co-worker Celia Harrison, played by Newton.
