  • The alleged manual of the iPad Air 4 was leaked last week
  • The schematics of the 10.8-inch iPad was leaked earlier today
  • Based on these leaks, the rumored iPad Air 4 and the 10.8-inch iPad share almost similar design

The alleged schematics of the rumored 10.8-inch iPad was leaked recently by 91 Mobiles. Last week several sites reported that the upcoming iPad Air 4 has a similar design with the iPad Pro. Now the leaked schematics reveal that the 10.8-inch iPad would ship with Face ID and USB-C.

Based on the leak, the 10.8-inch iPad would feature four microphones, dual speakers and a USB-C port. The back part of the device sports a single camera with an LED flash and a magnetic smart connector. The magic connector seemingly backs previous claims that the unreleased iPad would support the Magic Keyboard accessory.

Additionally, the alleged 10.8-inch iPad schematics revealed that it looks so similar to the iPad Pro. It features squared-off edges and much thinner bezels. If the upcoming device is indeed a low-cost iPad, the schematics would show that the company is trying to consolidate the iPad series's design language. There is also a chance that the alleged low-cost iPad and the rumored iPad Air 4 have the same design, which could explain the conflation of leaks, but they might differ in internals.

The 10.8-inch iPad is anticipated to debut as early as September. Last week, it was discovered at the EEC database that Apple filed a long list of unreleased Apple Watch and iPad models. Many believed that this is a sign that the products’ launch is imminent.

Industry insider Jon Prosser previously revealed that Apple would release some Apple Watch and iPad models sometime in September 2020. The tipster claimed that the Cupertino-based tech giant would debut these products through a press release next month, followed by the iPhone 12 event in October.

91 Mobiles claimed that the latest schematics are for the low-cost eighth-generation iPad, but many tech enthusiasts believed that it could be the heavily-rumored iPad Air 4. Last week, the manual of the iPad Air 4 was leaked online, which looks similar to the schematics of the alleged 10.8-inch iPad. TFI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously revealed that Apple is working on a 10.8-inch iPad.
