Amal Alamuddin Engagement Ring: George Clooney Gives Fiancee Stunning 7-Carat Diamond
Amal Alamuddin’s engagement ring has been revealed, just days after her status with George Clooney was confirmed. Clooney reportedly popped the question to Alamuddin, a British attorney, while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
The ring is an “ethically mined emerald-cut diamond estimated at 7-plus carats and two tapered baguettes set in platinum,” People reports. Clooney reportedly helped design the stunning ring for his fiancee.

Clooney proposed to Alamuddin on April 22, though it was not confirmed until six days later." George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren't really trying to hide this, it doesn't seem," People magazine reported, citing an unnamed source.
The two were first romantically linked in October 2013 after they were spotted out together in London. In March, People reports Clooney went to Dubai to visit Alamuddin’s family, and “they felt at ease with him immediately.”
While the couple may have tried to keep the engagement a secret, Alamuddin’s law firm issued a statement to Reuters on Monday. “The barristers and staff of Doughty Street Chambers offer their best wishes and congratulations to Ms. Amal Alamuddin, a member of Chambers, and Mr. George Clooney on their engagement to be married.”
Clooney previously dated former WWE star Stacy Keibler for two years. They split last year, and she went on to marry entrepreneur Jared Pobre. She is now pregnant with their first child. Clooney was also previously married to “Mad Men” actress Talia Balsam in 1989 before divorcing her in 1993.
