Amal Clooney Feels ‘Threatened’ By Julia Roberts’ Friendship With Husband George Clooney? Rumor Debunked
George Clooney’s friendship with Julia Roberts has been well known for several years, but a latest OK! magazine report claims that the actor’s wife, Amal Clooney, feels “threatened” by the “Ocean’s Eleven” actress. The magazine’s report, debunked by Gossip Cop, said that Amal has told George to maintain distance from Roberts.
George and Roberts will be in the upcoming thriller “Money Monster.” However, OK! magazine, cited by the celebrity rumor debunking Gossip Cop, claimed that Amal wants nothing to do with Roberts. A source told the magazine that the British-Lebanese lawyer told George to “keep at least three feet between [her and Roberts] on the red carpet and at premieres.”
“Amal was already so paranoid about Julia, she visited the Money Monster set several times. George actually thought they were striking up a friendship, but now he sees that Amal wanted to keep tabs on him,” the source told the magazine.
However, another insider told Gossip Cop that Amal does not have problems with Roberts and the magazine’s report is “fabricated.”
In March, it was reported that 55-year-old George was seen affectionately embracing and kissing a woman in California, while Amal was not around. But, the gossip debunking website said that the report was “fabricated” and the actor hugged the woman “platonically.”
George and Amal tied the knot in Venice, Italy, on Sept. 27, 2014, and have been spotted getting intimate on several occasions. In January, reports speculated if Amal was pregnant but George dismissed the rumors.
