Amal And George Clooney Share Sweet Moments During Italy Vacation

Amal and George Clooney, who tied the knot almost a year ago in Italy, are still madly in love. The two looked like newlyweds during their recent Italian vacation, sharing sweet moments.

The couple have been on an extended vacation in Italy and were spotted sharing an adorable PDA moment just outside the Villa D'Este hotel in Lake Como, where they have a home. According to "Entertainment Tonight," the two stepped out of the luxury hotel after enjoying a late dinner and were photographed gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes, with their foreheads nearly touching. George was later seen wrapping his arm around his wife.

The multi-awarded actor-director has been vocal about his love for his wife, calling her an “amazing human being.” In an "ET" interview in May, the 54-year-old star couldn’t stop gushing about his wife. "And she's caring. And she also happens to be one of the smartest people I've ever met. And she's got a great sense of humor,” Clooney said.

The couple also toured the Italian countryside and enjoyed the charm of small towns such as Chianti, Poggio and Cortona, People reported. The lovebirds visited the Montebernardi wine estate in Panzano in Chianti. They also had a romantic, albeit late, lunch at Locanda di Pietracupa restaurant in San Donato, Poggio. A waiter told the magazine that watching the two was like “a scene out of a romantic movie.” “It sounds cheesy because he really is a movie star. ... She was elegant in all her movements. They kept holding hands and leaning in for a kiss," he said.

The couple married in September 2014 in a private ceremony in Venice, Italy.
