Amazon Holiday Deals: Echo Dot, Fire TV 4K, More On Sale

Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping discounts are over, but Amazon is not done offering holiday deals on its devices.

To continue the 2017 holiday shopping season, Amazon is pushing its Deal Of The Day discounts on multiple items to consumers this weekend. The deals will benefit those interested in tech gadgets.

Here are the deals Amazon is offering:

Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD

On Dec. 2, customers can save $20 on Amazon’s latest Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD. The current price for the gadget is $69.99. With the discount the Fire TV 4K will be available for $49.99. The latest Fire TV, which was released this fall, plays media in 60 fps, HDR, and with Dolby Atmos audio. The Alexa-enabled device gives viewers access to more than 500,000 movies and TV shows and tens of thousands of channels, apps and skills, like HBO, Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu and SHOWTIME (with subscription). With the Fire TV’s Alexa-powered remote users can easily find, launch, and control content with their voice. Amazon’s FIre TV with 4K Ultra HD is much cheaper than Apple’s recently-released Apple TV 4K, which costs $179 for the 32GB version and $199 for the 64GB version.

Echo Dot And Fire TV Stick Bundle

From Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday, the Echo Dot and Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote were the best-selling Amazon devices -- and from any manufacturer in any category across all of Amazon.com, the company said. To keep the momentum going this holiday season, the online retailer is selling the Echo Dot and Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote bundle for less than $60 ($59.98), a 33 percent savings. The offer is available on Amazon until Dec. 31.

The Echo Dot alone is currently priced at $29.99, down from its regular $49.99 price. The Alexa-enabled device is the most affordable voice assistant gadget Amazon offers.

The Echo Dot was the best-selling item on Cyber Monday, Amazon said this week. This year’s Cyber Monday overall was a good day for Amazon. The event was the single biggest shopping day in Amazon’s history, surpassing this summer’s Prime Day 2017, the company said.

Amazon Tablet and Echo Bundles

Besides those deals, Amazon is also currently offering $100 off when customers buy two Echo Show devices. The Alexa-powered Echo Show was released earlier this year. The company is also offering $50 off a bundle of two Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablets. The two-pack costs $149.98, 25 percent off its regular $199.98 price. Customers can also save $30 of a three-pack of Fire 7 tablets, priced at $119.97, instead of $149.97 when sold separately.

The company is offering bundle deals on its Kindle devices this weekend. One of the deals takes $20 off a bundle that includes the latest 6-inch Kindle Paperwhite, an Amazon Leather Cover and an Amazon 5W Power Adapter.
