Amber Heard-Elon Musk Dating Rumors: Johnny Depp’s Estranged Wife, Tesla Billionaire Just Friends, But Reports Say They Are Getting Close

Amber Heard and Tesla Motors owner Elon Musk triggered dating speculations after being spotted spending time together in Miami. However, while some reports claimed the two are just friends, other reports said that Johnny Depp’s estranged wife and the billionaire business magnate are getting close.

Heard and Musk were seen at the Delano South Beach hotel in Miami and the actress recently visited the entrepreneur’s office in Los Angeles. People magazine reported that the two were in Florida because their work schedules overlapped.

“Amber and Elon are friends and have been for a few years,” a source told People. “Their work schedules overlapped in Florida over the weekend — Elon was there for the SpaceX launch and Amber was there with her sister for a shoot.”

On Thursday, TMZ also reported that the 30-year-old “Danish Girl” star and the 45-year-old SpaceX owner are not romantically involved.

However, Us Weekly magazine had a different story to tell. According to the magazine, Heard and Musk stayed together in Miami last Friday through Sunday.

“Very, very late on Sunday night, Amber walked out of her room at the Delano, and then Elon walked out two minutes later,” an eyewitness told the magazine, adding that the two happened to be booked at the same hotel and “the group hung out at the hotel” for privacy.

Heard, who was married to Depp for just over a year, is in a legal fight with the actor over their divorce. Following their separation, the actress accused the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star of physical abuse, prompting several reports to claim that she is after his money.

Meanwhile, Musk and his actress wife Talulah Riley filed for divorce in March. The two first married in 2010 and separated two years later. They remarried in July 2013 for the second time before filing for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court.
