Amber Heard Shakes Off Divorce To Johnny Depp By Partying With Friends Margot Robbie And Cara Delevingne
Amber Heard isn’t letting anything stop her from celebrating her new single life after her divorce with Johnny Depp. “The Run Diary” actress recently split from Depp, whom she was married for 15 months. The blonde star received a $7 million divorce settlement which she donated to two charities -- ACLU and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
On Saturday night, Heard was spotted enjoying a fun ladies night out with pals Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne and others, E! News reports. The group first headed to a Rolling Stones exhibition before eating at the Ivy Kensington Brassiere in London. Later, Heard and her friends attempted to get in a nightclub in Marylebone but were denied entrance for some reason.
Depp’s ex-wife and the “Suicide Squad” actresses then entered Chiltern Firehouse where they spent the rest of the night partying.
Heard said in a statement (via People) that she donated her divorce settlement to two charitable organizations and will continue to support them in the future. “As described in the restraining order and divorce settlement, money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and, in doing so, hopefully help those less able to defend themselves,” she said.
The 30-year-old further added, “As reported in the media, the amount received in the divorce was $7 million and $7 million is being donated ... I know these organizations will put the funds to good use and look forward to continuing to support them in the future. Hopefully, this experience results in a positive change in the lives of people who need it the most.”
After the divorce settlement, Heard and Depp had released a joint statement in which they admitted that their relationship was passionate and, at times, volatile.
