Amber Portwood Is Happy For Ex Matt Baier And His Surprise Marriage

Amber Portwood and Matt Baier want the best for each other as they live their separate lives.

On Monday, Baier surprised everyone when he got married in Las Vegas. Baier's new wife named Jennifer Conlon is a mom of two. According to Baier, the "Teen Mom" star is happy for him.

"We had a great conversation. It was really funny, we talked like friends. I told her how happy I was for her and her relationship and the baby. She says she's happy and I'm really happy for her and I wished her the best," Baier said (via E! News).

"She said that she's happy for me and she hopes that Jen's a really good person, which she is, and it was a good conversation," Baier continued. "I was touched that we could talk like that. I couldn't be happier for her."

Portwood and Baier had an on-and-off relationship for several years. Their romance was documented in the MTV series, "Teen Mom OG." The pair officially broke up in late June. Shortly after their split, Portwood found a new love in Andrew Glennon.

When Baier learned of his ex-fiancée’s new romance he wished her well. According to him, he wants Portwood to be happy. "All I ever wanted for Amber is for her to be happy and safe," Baier told E! News. "We spent three years building a life together and they were the three happiest years of my life. I wouldn't trade them for anything. Amber knows if she ever needs me I'm just a phone call away."

Portwood and Baier are facing major changes as they take on their separate lives with their new partners. While Baier just got married, Portwood is expecting a baby with boyfriend, Glennon. The "Teen Mom OG" star confirmed her pregnancy on Instagram earlier this month.

The photo featured the shore with the words "We're Pregnant" written on the sand. "Thank you everyone for all the kind words I'm very excited for my future with Andrew and our little family we are starting together! Love always," the expectant mom wrote in the caption.

When Baier and Portwood split, things were not as amicable as how it is today. In fact, they joined "Family Boot Camp" to help them resolve their issues, but she stressed that they were not reconciling.

"We are talking, but we're not talking in a sense that we're going to get back together," Portwood said. "We argue too much."
