The world got to see a different side of the relationship between “Teen Mom: OG” star Amber Portwood and her on-again, off-again fiancé Matt Baier, on Monday’s episode. The two got into a fight after Portwood said she didn’t want to elope with him in Las Vegas. Angrily Baier turned away from his fiancée and blasted her.

When celebrity blogger Perez Hilton wrote a story about the interaction, Portwood responded, saying on Twitter Tuesday: “Yeah wish he would have said that to me!! Lol good thing he whispered it to her [a producer] because I don't mess around with comments like that!!”

In a message to a fan, she then defended Baier: “It was out of anger. And me and my brother expressed ourselves very calmly and direct! We don't need anymore negative comments.”

The main reason Portwood, 26, didn’t want to elope in Sin City is because her 8-year-old daughter Leah wouldn’t’ be there. “I’m not doing it without [Leah],” she explained. “She’s 8. I’m not doing it without her.” Portwood shares her daughter with ex-fiancé Gary Shirley. As Portwood expected, Leah told her father she would be upset if her mother got married without her there, saying she was slated to be the flower girl for the big day.

But Baier was unmoved. He apparently had been bitten by the love bug and was ready to make Portwood his for better or for worse. “Let’s just f--king do it,” he pressured her on Monday’s episode.

But the Indiana native wasn’t ready. She called her older brother, Shawn, for his blessing, but he didn’t give it. At that moment, Portwood called off the spur-of-the-moment nuptials.

Baier took Portwood’s refusal as a direct attack, claiming she embarrassed him on national television in front of millions of viewers. “I will not marry her. I will not marry her now, ever. I will make that statement. She wants to marry her brother,” he ranted. “That’s who she wants to marry. F--k her, she just humiliated me on TV. I’m done. Done!”

He tried to get an MTV producer to leave out Portwood refusing to marry him, saying he didn’t care who she had to get oral sex from as long as that scene didn’t air. The producer reminded him it was not her call.

Despite all the drama, Portwood and Baier are still together — though the October wedding has apparently been called off. This is now the second time Portwood delayed their marriage.

“They are still together and living together but there have been a few bumps in the road. The fall wedding isn’t happening,” an insider told Us Weekly last week. “Amber got cold feet after a series of red flags."

Portwood hasn’t posted a picture with Baier, who is nearly 20 years older than her, on Instagram for weeks. Most recently, she talked about getting in shape and taking care of her health. “I am so motivated lately to work hard and reach my body goals, and all of your sweet comments keep me going!” she wrote last week, hocking a new detox tea.
