Amber Portwood Breaks Up With Matt Baier? ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Talks Wedding Rumors

“Teen Mom OG” star Amber Portwood planned to marry fiancé Matt Baier in October, but the nuptials might not go as planned. In a preview for Monday’s episode of MTV’s unscripted reality show, Portwood looked like the most unhappy bride when she tried on a wedding dress.

When asked what she thought about her gown, she said, “I don’t know.” After trying on a tiara and staring at herself in the mirror she said, “Alright, I’m ready to get out of this. Get me out of this. Get me out of this: now.”

Most fans of the show know that Baier, who is nearly 20 years older that Portwood, lied to her about how many children he had. Baier oringally said he had two children, but Portwood’s ex-fiancé Gary Shirley revealed he was the father of at least 7 children. Radar Online claimed in March 2016 that he fathered as many as 9 children.

“I was so shocked,” Portwood confessed to Okmagazine.com at the time. “I didn’t know what to think. Did my man have all these kids with all these women that I didn’t know about? It freaked me out.”

The couple was able to mend their relationship after the paternity scandal, but now they’re reportedly wading through a cheating scandal.

Baier failed a lie detector test where he was asked if he cheated or had inappropriate conversations with other women, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported Friday. She supposedly dumped him after he failed. Radar Online claimed the moment was caught by MTV’s cameras.

“Amber says he didn’t pass ,” a source told Radar Online Saturday. “It was filmed by MTV, so it will all play out on ‘Teen Mom .’”

“She is saying it’s over,” the source claimed, noting a reconciliation was possible. “But they could get back together. They’ve gone through lots of ups and downs .”

Things aren’t easy, though. They are “fighting a lot right now.”

Aside for the cryptic preview for “Teen Mom OG,” Fans first got wind that something was wrong with the couple when Portwood appeared on when she appeared on the podcast of Susan Pinsky, who is the wife of reunion show host Dr. Drew Pinsky, Thursday.

“We were engaged for a couple of years, we had a venue set up for Oct. 13th and everything, let's just say some things have happened just in the last couple of days,” Portwood said. “I don’t really know.”

The MTV reality star said he “100 percent” has a lot of apologizing to do. “He messed up, he’s trying to fix it,” the host asked. Portwood replied, “Yes.”

“We were together three years. I can’t say we’re together right now and I can’t say we aren’t together right now,” she said. “It’s a weird situation. I can say is he went home yesterday and I am here.”

Portwood hasn’t posted a photo of herself with her fiancé of three years for 11 weeks. Instead, she focused on herself, posting multiple selfies and “sending love” to her followers. She also wrote to her fans that she wanted to start working out again, getting back into kickboxing and possibly Mixed Martial Arts.

She also went to the 2017 MTV Movie Awards last week without her beau. She posted for a picture with rapper DJ Khaled. “Lighting is horrible but sending all my love as usual to @djkhaled,” she wrote Thursday. The post was liked more than 25,000 times by her 1.1 million followers.

While it seems like Portwood and Baier are on the outs, a source close to the 45-year-old told Radar Online the Boston native passed the polygraph test “with flying colors.”

Baier confirmed he took the test. I absolutely did take a lie detector test to once and for all prove to everybody I’ve never been unfaithful to Amber,” he told The Dirty Friday.
