Amelia Gray Hamlin Reacts To Mom Lisa Rinna's Comments About Scott Disick Romance

Amelia Gray Hamlin appreciates any "support" for her relationship with Scott Disick.

The 20-year-old model appeared to have taken her mom Lisa Rinna's recent comments on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" about her current beau, 38, in stride.

On Thursday, Paper Magazine shared on Instagram a photo of Hamlin recreating one of her mother's iconic looks. In the caption, after mentioning the recent comments the actress made about her daughter's relationship with Disick, the magazine expressed its support for Hamlin and her boyfriend.

"We support you @ameliagray, fittingly in Lisa Rinna drag here," the outlet wrote, adding a heart emoji.

Hamlin showed her appreciation for the gesture, replying, "Ugh love the support," along with crying and heart emojis.

Hamlin's response comes after Rinna jokingly questioned her taste in men while discussing eldest daughter Delilah Hamlin's romance with "Love Island" alum Eyal Booker.

"Harry [Hamlin's] made it quite clear that he would not object if Delilah [Belle Hamlin] and Eyal [Booker] got married, which is pretty shocking, but that says a lot," she said during the Wednesday episode of the Bravo series. "I can't say the same for Amelia at this point now."

Rinna then asked, "Like, why can't it be Harry Styles? Why the f--k is it Scott Disick?"

Disick and Hamlin were first linked together in October 2020 when they were spotted at Kendall Jenner's Halloween-themed birthday party, months after his split from Sofia Richie. While he had also been photographed with models Bella Banos and Megan Blake Irwin at the time, his chemistry with Hamlin continued to heat up.

Hamlin previously clapped back at critics who expressed disapproval over her relationship with Disick due to their age difference.

"People can embrace themselves however they feel fit for them at that moment in time," she wrote on her Instagram Story in December 2020, as per Us Weekly. "People grow. People learn to love themselves more and more."

Hamlin and Disick made their relationship Instagram official in February. She then posted a sweet tribute for him on his 38th birthday in May. She shared a series of photos of them together on Instagram and said she was "lucky" to have him.

"Happy birthday my love. You light up my life, and make my world better. I can’t imagine what I would do without you," she wrote in the caption. "Thank you for being you. The most caring, loving, special person on this planet. I’m so lucky. I’m so blessed to have met you. I love you."

Meanwhile, her mom had previously been among those who were skeptical about their relationship. In an episode of "RHOBH," she shared that her husband, Harry Hamlin, was "calm about" their daughter dating Disick but admitted she felt "a lot nervous about it."

"We're thinking it's a phase, right? It's a phase, I don't want to bring attention to it," Rinna said as quoted by Entertainment Tonight as saying. "Should I text Kris [Jenner] and be like, 'Welp …,' I've done nothing in other words because I also don't want to bring any attention to it."

Rinna's co-star Kathy Hilton was also not happy about Hamlin dating a man 18 years her senior. "He's too damn old and he's got three kids! That is not a good match," she said.

Disick shares three kids, Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6, with his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian.
