The pioneers of modern emo American Football is set to headline a virtual coronavirus relief concert. American Football and other noteworthy acts will be playing live in Minecraft.
The coronavirus benefit concert is called Nether Meant and will happen in a virtual space known as Elsewither, which is based on Elsewhere, a popular bar in Brooklyn, according to Verge.
The concert is set to take place in Minecraft in a zone where players can visit. People who don’t own Minecraft can watch the concert via streaming on Twitch.
The organizer of Nether Meant, Open Pit, will be selling VIP passes before the event. VIP access will give users special VIP areas in the game, access to the VIP areas in Discord where they can chat with the artists and organizers and get exclusive in-game merchandise.
All the proceeds from this relief concert will go to Good360’s relief efforts towards coronavirus crisis.
