American Horror Story: 1984
Xavier (Cody Fern) fears he won’t survive the night at Camp Redwood on “American Horror Story: 1984,” episode 3. Kurt Iswarienko/FX

Mr. Jingles has begun terrorizing the occupants of Camp Redwood, and when “American Horror Story: 1984” returns, he will be ready to exact his revenge against Margaret. Since she has refused to close down the camp, on “Slashdance,” the lives of everyone on the property will be put in danger.

Check out these 3 things you should expect to see on “American Horror Story” Season 9, episode 3.

1. History Begins To Repeat Itself At Camp Redwood.

“Imitation is the best form of tragedy,” the “AHS: 1984” episode 3 synopsis teases. In the FX promo video, Dr. Hopple (Orla Brady) says, they like to believe that there are always methods behind madness but some people are just evil.

In the previous episode, Dr. Hopple tried to warn Margaret (Leslie Grossman) that Mr. Jingles (John Caroll Lynch) had escaped and was probably on his way to kill her. Despite her advice, Margaret refused to close down the camp and chose to remain at the place where the serial killer almost murdered her.

It appears Mr. Jingles will be ready to kill Margaret, but will he claim a different victim before he gets to her?

2. Xavier Suspects The Group Is Doomed.

“Coming clean can be pretty messy,” the “Slashdance” synopsis says. In the “American Horror Story: 1984” episode 3 promo video, Xavier (Cody Fern) says that karma is coming through the door, and there is nothing they can do to stop it.

In the previous episode, the counselors tried to flee Camp Redwood in Xavier’s van but totaled the car after Rita (Angelica Ross) ran into the road. The group split up to find keys to the other vehicles parked on the campgrounds, but they may have some trouble finding an escape car. While Xavier, Montana (Billie Lourd) and Trevor (Matthew Morrison) get attacked in a cabin, Brooke (Emma Roberts), Ray (DeRon Horton) and Rita get attacked in the infirmary. Will the group find a way to escape?

3. A Death

Elsewhere in the promo video, Xavier looks into a deep hole that appears to be filled with spikes. He then asks someone what they are doing in the hole, and the individual reveals that he’s dying.

It appears a person will die after falling into the hole, but will it be someone from the original group, or will viewers be introduced to a new character?

“American Horror Story: 1984” episode 3 will air Wednesday at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
