‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ Spoilers: 4 Things To Expect From Episode 5
Cordelia may have been able to shut down any notion of Langdon performing the Seven Wonders, but on “American Horror Story: Apocalypse,” episode 5, she may be forced to reconsider her decision.
After Langdon (Cody Fern) managed to free Madison (Emma Robert) and Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) in the previous episode, Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) passed out once she laid eyes on the two witches from “AHS: Coven.” When “Boy Wonder” airs on FX, Cordelia will regain consciousness and deliver terrible news.
Check out the 4 things you can expect to see on “American Horror Story” Season 8, episode 5.
1. Cordelia Predicts The Apocalypse
In the promo video for “Boy Wonder,” Cordelia reveals she saw a terrifying future, which includes fire, death and the smell of burning flesh. The Supreme is later seen standing in what appears to be the remains of Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies following a massive fire or explosion. As Cordelia looks around to assess the damage, she is attacked and later reveals a wound on her abdomen. Will the injury threaten Cordelia’s ability to remain the Supreme?
2. Langdon Continues To Manipulate Those Around Him
After learning Cordelia wouldn’t let him prove himself in the Seven Wonders, Langdon retrieved Madison from her own personal hell and Queenie from Hotel Cortez to show the depth of his power. While a majority of the Warlocks will support the idea that he could become the Alpha, not everyone will see his abilities as a gift.
3. The Warlocks Turn On Each Other
In the “American Horror Story: Apocalypse,” episode 5 promo video, John Henry Moore (Cheyenne Jackson) is seen using his powers to pin Behold Chablis (Billy Porter) against a wall. In the previous episode, the other warlocks were mesmerized by Langdon’s abilities, but John Henry seemed to believe the teen was actually the antichrist. Will Henry Moore turn against his fellow warlocks in an attempt to stop Langdon from wreaking havoc?
4. Cordelia Offers A Solution
In the FX promo video, Cordelia tells the warlocks the fate of the world depends on what she does next. In the previous episode, it was revealed that Cordelia refused to allow a teenage Langdon to compete in the Seven Wonders out of fear she would be sentencing him to his own death. However, the warlocks believed she was simply afraid of losing her place as the Supreme and being replaced by an Alpha. Although Cordelia appears to have a way to save the world from devastation, will the warlocks allow her to lead them out of the path of destruction?
“American Horror Story: Apocalypse,” episode 5 will air on Wednesday at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
