Ready to enter “American Horror Story: Freak Show”? Season 4 of the FX miniseries is set to premiere on Wednesday, introducing viewers to a whole new “AHS” universe. From the world’s strongest man, conjoined twins and a bearded woman, the upcoming season is set to take fans into a world full of amazing feats and terror.
As we previously reported, Season 4 will be a period piece set in Jupiter, Florida, in 1952. In the synopsis for “Freak Show,” Jupiter is described as a “quiet, sleepy hamlet.” However, that will quickly change when a “troupe of curiosities” arrive. Their arrival coincides with “the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike.” With not only their lives on the line, Season 4 will tell “the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American Carny experience.”
To celebrate Season 4, the “American Horror Story” cast was in Hollywood, California, on Sunday, Oct. 5. Check out the actors on the red carpet -- and see if you’ll be able to recognize them when “American Horror Story: Freak Show” premieres on FX on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 10 p.m. EDT.
