It is time to freak out as Ryan Murphy revealed on Twitter, on Monday, that season 4 of ‘American Horror Story’ will be called ‘Freak Show’. The co-creator until now has been tightlipped on dishing spoilers ahead of the October air date, other than the fact it will be a period piece where the show’s star Jessica Lange will rock a German accent.

‘Freak Show’ will be set in Florida, but will be filmed in New Orleans. The story will revolve around one of the countries’ last freak shows managed by a German ex-pat played by Lange. Fans imaginations are now running wild with the possible twists, turns and new fears that could develop in the 4th installment of the hugely successful franchise.

Aside from Lange, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and Frances Conroy will all be returning. Co-creator Ryan Murphy has stated that they always want to do something different from the season before, so where will go from ‘Coven’?
